Raise your expectations not for this is only the first time I will try to do something like this. Considering that all big FAs are already signed somewhere, either on the same team or a new one, we don't expect any of the remaining FAs to move the needle in any team they might sign. With all due respect to every GM, this is only my own personal opinion of the best possible lineup a team can field. Without further ado, let's start!

30. Toronto Raptors (6-76) PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander SG Dillon Brooks SF JR Smith PF Kyle Kuzma C Lauri Markannen
after finishing the season with a dismal 6-76 record (15th in the East), the Raps is a team with a lot of young guys with possibly good upside. The team is lacking depth in the frontcourt which will be an issue unless they tank again. Playing JR Smith off the bench while paying him at least $13 Million this season will be odd unless Miles Bridges gets it going irl (highly unlikely cuz he's playing for the Hornets lol). Kuzma is the only one who played at least 30 minutes a game for the Raps last year while Brooks played 26 min/game. Oh, and Markannen only played 2 games last season, not sure if it's correct but that's the data I got. We don't expect this team to make the playoffs and tanking is a likely possibility.
29. Dallas Mavericks (19-63) PG Jerian Grant SG Kent Bazemore SF Luka Doncic PF Marvin Williams C Nerlens Noel The starters will be okay with Grant and Doncic as playmakers. Expect the starters to play significant minutes cause this team lacks bench depth. We expect this team not to make the playoffs with this lineup in the competitive Western Conference.
28. Milwaukee Bucks (21-61) PG Gary Harris SG Donovan Mitchell SF Josh Richardson PF Juan Hernangomez C ??? 9 out of the 10 players currently in the roster is a Guard. They are clogging in the Guard spot: PG:Harris/Mills/Young/Mudiay, SG:Mitchell/Hart/Nwaba. They might consider unloading some of their guard unless they play a 4-guard lineup. They won't make the playoffs this year, that's for sure.
27. Miami Heat (21-61) PG Dennis Schroder SG Frank Ntilikina SF Justin Anderson PF John Henson C DeAndre Ayton picking Ayton with the #2 overall is a no-brainer and we expect him to start in Miami since we're pretty sure he'll be starting in Phoenix irl. This team lacks wing players who can be productive having only Anderson as their best SF option. They will have the cap space next offseason to sign a starter caliber player. Won't make the playoffs this year.
26. Atlanta Hawks (23-59) PG Dennis Smith Jr. SG Victor Oladipo SF Khris Middleton PF Jayson Tatum C Marc Gasol after finishing 12th in the East last season, the Hawks made trades to overhaul their roster, shipping Beal (last season's scoring champ), WCS, and the 5th overall pick (which turned into Marvin Bagley III) to form a better team. They've had a great offseason so far even without signing a single Free Agent. Take note, Taj Gibson might steal Tatum's spot with the uncertainty of his playing time in Boston irl. Expect this team to make a run for the playoffs this year.

Very nice. I’ve had a lot of the same thoughts about most of these, especially MIL with having drafted Trae despite being devoid of big man talent and having several good ones left on the board (I’m not a Mo Bamba truther, but at worse he’s got a good shot to become like.. 75% of Gobert).
Speaking of, can Kuzma play SF? If at all possible, no reason not to play Markkanen and Bamba together as starters. Probably gives them a couple more wins too.
Lastly - I pretty much love all of Atlanta’s players. They look like a 45-55 win team to me -especially if Tatum improves.

I'm skeptical on Bamba just because he's in Orlando, their player development sucks. Toronto sat out Markannen last year, he only played 2 games. I'm pretty sure they are not planning on competing nor winning. I do believe Kuzma can play SF but they will lack bench depth though he can put Miles Bridges in backup SF/PF and have a C/PF/SF rotation of: Bamba/Markannen/Kuzma/Bridges with each player averaging 36 minutes a game.

Yeah my team isn't a contender yet so it's not really an issue that we're unbalanced. Every player besides Donovan is just a trade asset. That said I think my lineup is going to be
Trae Donovan Garris Josh Hart Juancho
I'd be really interested to see how a team with this much shooting would do in the NBA. We'd get smoked on defense but might match that with one of the best O's in the league

25. San Antonio Spurs (24-58) PG Isaiah Thomas SG Courtney Lee SF Otto Porter Jr. PF Pascal Siakam C Wendell Carter Jr. after finishing 14th in the West last season, they managed to acquire Porter, Thomas and Carter. With a nice veteran bench backing up the starters, this team can win more games than last season if they can manage to be healthy. Expect this team to be competitive next season, reaching the playoffs in the brutal Western Conference might be a tough one.
24. Los Angeles Clippers (25-57) PG Rajon Rondo SG Jamal Crawford SF Danilo Gallinari PF Jordan Bell C Jakob Poeltl with the queued trade between LAC and POR, expect DeMarcus Cousins to start at the Center spot replacing Poeltl. With the lack of youth with this team and a huge cap space next offseason, they will make a run on young players entering Free Agency next offseason. They are currently in rebuilding mode and might give some of their young guys (Bell, Labissiere, Rabb, Mason) a run during the season. Don't expect too much from this team, they are not targeting the playoffs.
23. Sacramento Kings (26-56) PG Austin Rivers SG Terrence Ross SF Solomon Hill PF Zhaire Smith C Jaren Jackson Jr. Having a large cap space in the foreseeable future, this team is only waiting for the right time to pounce on anyone available to help them transform from a rebuilding team to one who can compete or they might just let their players grow organically, like Pat Riley does. We don't see this team making the playoffs, young guys might get a run during the season.
22. Chicago Bulls (29-53) PG Markelle Fultz SG Devin Booker SF Jae Crowder PF Jabari Parker C Zaza Pachulia after acquiring Devin Booker and extending a contract offer, they seem to believe that Booker is the franchise cornerstone that will turn this team around. Having their players on a long-term contracts, they might try to go for the Playoffs growing the team within. Fultz might be bumped to the bench if he does not perform well irl. Booker will have to play as PG, putting KCP in SG or Tony Parker will start for Fultz. They may win more games or not. We're sure it will be a bumpy season for this team.
21. Houston Rockets (32-50) PG Kyrie Irving SG Patrick Beverley SF Tim Hardaway Jr. PF Marcus Morris C LaMarcus Aldridge After lowballing most of the Tier 1 Free Agents, they managed to sign LMA to a multi-year contract. They also managed to acquire Irving. after only winning 32 games last season, having a Backcourt of Irving-Beverley (anyone hear the irl Harden-Beverly backcourt before?), a solid frontcourt, and some nice bench depth, expect them to be competitive and make a run for the playoffs, this team could win at least 40 games next season if healthy. This team can make the Western Conference's powerhouses a run for their money.

20. Philadelphia 76ers (36-46) PG Damian Lillard SG James Harden SF Langston Galloway PF Ryan Anderson C Tristan Thompson The only remaining team to have no GM. Having a Backcourt tandem of Lillard-Harden proved to not have been effective. With their lack of a reliable SF and a GM, don't expect this team to improve from last season's outcome. A Larry Nance Jr. breakout season irl might help them but it won't be that impactful with this roster. A Fringe playoff team without GM (someone get this team asap.)
19. Orlando Magic (36-46) PG Lonzo Ball SG Jimmy Butler SF Evan Fournier PF Pau Gasol C Jonas Valanciunas a lackluster team who struggled playing Defense. With the acquisition of starters: Butler & Valanciunas and backups: Powell & Wade, the Magic expects to have a better season than last year.
18. Memphis Grizzlies (36-46) PG John Wall SG Maurice Harkless SF DeMarre Carroll PF Aaron Gordon C Blake Griffin after finishing the season with a disappointing 36-46 record due to injuries, re-signing Blake Griffin and matching Aaron Gordon's offer sheet was key to the Grizzlies this offseason. While an improvement in their Wing is necessary, we can still see them as a playoff-bound team.
17. Utah Jazz (38-44) PG Dante Exum SG Eric Gordon SF Brandon Ingram PF Marvin Bagley III C Marcin Gortat With the departure of Paul George, Pau Gasol and Markieff Morris, the team looks to roll with the youth and we're expecting them to step back a little further unless Exum, Ingram and Bagley each have an impressive start to the season irl. Will the team be willing to tank this year or will they try to reshuffle the squad and compete for a playoff spot? We can see them as a tank team this year and might try their luck on Free Agency next offseason when they get a ton of cap space.
16. Indiana Pacers (40-42) PG Goran Dragic SG Marco Belinelli SF Danny Green PF Markieff Morris C Steven Adams As the only team below .500 to reach the Playoffs, they might have a little competition next year with the resurgence of the Hawks. Relying upon vets and not having youth might hit this team hard. They also need to improve their bench. We expect them to be a fringe playoff team next season.

Hmm... booker at the 1 and kcp at the 2 might be something I need to try trouble with that is Booker ain't a playmaker, he'll have a hard time running the point.

15. Minnesota Timberwolves (44-38) PG Kyle Lowry SG Will Barton SF Tobias Harris PF Kevin Love C Hassan Whiteside No problemo. After making a late season surge to the playoffs thanks to their new GM Nick Van Exel, he managed take the last playoff spot in the Western Conference. They may have been swept by the powerhouse Trailblazers but expect this team to still compete for a playoff spot next season. Only their Wing players will be changed this time around. Will Barton will replace the departed Zach Lavine while Tobias Harris will be taking Otto Porter Jr.'s spot. Expect this team to make more moves before and/or during the season, they will fight for the playoffs again this year.
14. Los Angeles Lakers (46-36) PG Lou Williams SG Klay Thompson SF Kawhi Leonard PF Meyers Leonard C Rudy Gobert Another team who got swept in the 1st round of the playoffs. A massive overhaul was done with this team and only bench players Raul Neto and James Ennis will be returning next season. The FA acquisitions of Sweet Lou and The Klaw is a big win for this franchise. This team will be a defensive nightmare for opposing teams having Defensive Stalwart Gobert and multi-positional defenders Leonard and Thompson. Though depth can be an issue especially in the PF spot. Expect this team to win at least 50 games barring injuries.
13. Boston Celtics (46-36) PG Russell Westbrook SG Andre Roberson SF Dario Saric PF Serge Ibaka C Paul Millsap With the return of Roberson from injury and having Ibaka as a replacement for JV, they might take a step backward on their Interior D. Ibaka has been a shell of himself the past couple of seasons, he doesn't do much anymore but shoot 3s. Incorporating new players in this team will be a challenge. Provided this team stays healthy, they can still make the playoffs next season.
12. Charlotte Hornets (47-35) PG Zach Lavine SG Bojan Bogdanovic SF Loul Deng PF John Collins C Kyle O'Quinn After acquiring young talents in Zach Lavine, Kevin Knox, John Collins and Grayson Allen, this team will likely be in a pickle as a fringe Playoff team. If Knox can make an impact right out of the gates irl, we expect him to replace Deng. Still, this team might struggle getting to the Playoffs without a true star Player to get them there.
11. Brooklyn Nets (48-34) PG DiAngelo Russell SG Allen Crabbe SF Andrew Wiggins PF Dirk Nowitzki C Joel Embiid As the only D720 team who doesn't make a trade, they are growing their organically. They may not make trades but they sign FAs, with the acquisition of Spencer Dinwiddie, Allen Crabbe and Dwight Powell through Free Agency, they managed to at least get a little better. Expect this team to stay in the playoffs but will likely rely on an 8-man rotation.

10. Washington Wizards (49-33) PG Ricky Rubio SG Joe Ingles SF Tyreke Evans PF Nikola Mirotic C Clint Capela With the arrival of Evans, we expect him to replace Ariza as a starter (or not). Loaded with young talents not yet starting (VanVleet, Ferrell, Isaac, Osman, Chriss, Maker), they still managed to be a competitive young team only lacking a true star to take them to the next level. We're only waiting for someone from this team to have a breakout season irl. Having minimal player turnover will help the team mesh. Expect this team to still make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.
9. Golden State Warriors (52-30) PG Stephen Curry SG C.J. McCollum SF Paul George PF Karl Anthony-Towns C Enes Kanter A scary team in the offensive end, whether it be the starters or the bench. With only PG13 as the only reliable defender, they will probably be a turnstile in the defensive end. Don't be fooled though, as they can rain down points on you any given night. They will probably need to score at least 110 points a game to win. We expect this team to make the playoffs with a star-studded lineup.
8. Cleveland Cavaliers (55-27) PG Jrue Holiday SG Bradley Beal SF T.J. Warren PF Giannis Antetokounmpo C Nikola Vucevic After faltering to the Hornets in 7 games, Cavs' new GM, Michael Jordan, replaced Middleton and Gibson as starters with Beal and Vucevic. The team's defense will likely regress. Having another option in the offensive end (Vucevic) and Clarkson's contract were (kinda) the goals of the new GM. After signing Rudy Gay and matching Kyle Anderson's offer sheet. This team will look to make the playoffs once again. In the East, they can make the playoffs again next season.
7. Detroit Pistons (56-26) PG Reggie Jackson SG Nicolas Batum SF Harrison Barnes PF Thaddeus Young C Dwight Howard With a quiet offseason (like the irl Miami Heat) due to cap constraint, they only managed to sign Jodie Meeks. They will be running with the same crew from last season. They did win 56 games even though Batum had trouble with injuries. Winning less than 50 games in the Eastern Conference next season will be a disappointment for this team considering they reached the Conference Finals last year.
6. Oklahoma City Thunder (56-26) PG Mike Conley SG Jaylen Brown SF Ben Simmons PF Al Horford C Myles Turner After a hard-fought Western Conference 1st round against the eventual Western Conference winner, Phoenix Suns, they will be getting back Veteran Floor General Mike Conley from injury. Surely, Serge Ibaka will not be missed. The team still have a solid bench to back them up, even though they also lose Norman Powell, veteran replacements in Bismack Biyombo, Jeff Green and Luc Mbah a Moute were added. They also drafted Michael Porter Jr. Winning 60 games is a possibility.

5. New York Knicks (59-23) PG Kemba Walker SG Darren Collison SF Robert Covington PF Nikola Jokic C DeAndre Jordan After taking the East by storm (12-2), they managed to comeback from a 3-1 deficit against the Suns in the D720 Finals! Losing Manu Ginobili to retirement is a hard pill to swallow but they managed to sign Darren Collison to a contract giving them another playmaker to run with the starters (replacing Courtney Lee). Seth Curry, Sterling Brown and Jabari Bird will be fighting for Ginobili's slot. With not much of a competition in the East, they are expected to finish next season remaining atop the Eastern Conference standing and will likely be defending the crown.
4. Phoenix Suns (60-22) PG Eric Bledsoe SG Jamal Murray SF Gordon Hayward PF Derrick Favors C Andre Drummond After losing a 3-1 in the D720 Finals against the the Knicks, this surprise team from the West will be competing once again for a rematch with the Knicks. They will get back Gordon Hayward to start. They will still be running with the same crew and will have Cory Joseph to run the 2nd unit. Still a playoff lock and will likely be competing for the crown.
3. New Orleans Pelicans (65-17) PG Jeff Teague SG Avery Bradley SF Rondae Hollis-Jefferson PF Anthony Davis C Jarrett Allen Falling in the 1st round against a lower-seeded team is heartbreaking. However, a new and improved Backcourt will be running the show for the Pelicans next season. Adding Jeff Teague and Avery Bradley is good news for the Pels' defense. although Bradley's reliability as a 3rd option will be a question mark, we still expect this team contend in the wild wild West.
2. Denver Nuggets (formerly Seattle Supersonics 66-16) PG LeBron James SG Buddy Hield SF J.J. Redick PF Kevin Durant C Gorgui Dieng Losing Kawhi Leonard through Free Agency may have been the biggest fallout for this team this offseason. After getting swept by the Suns in the Western Conference Finals (thanks to Kawhi), he left the team to return home to Los Angeles. Although he wasn't a factor in Seattle's regular season dominance, it proved that his absence may have been a factor in the sweep. With the team lacking bench depth still, we can still see this team contending in the West with LBJ & KD running the show.
1. Portland Trailblazers (69-13) PG Chris Paul SG DeMar Derozan SF Draymond Green PF Kristaps Porzingis C DeMarcus Cousins (Jakob Poeltl) Falling in the hands of the Suns in the Western Conference Semifinals, the Trailblazers replaced Klay Thompson with Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins with Jakob Poeltl (Queued trade). Adding James Johnson, Anthony Tolliver, Jaron Blossomgame and Nemanja Bjelica could prove to be helpful to the bench's depth. Expect this team to compete for the crown next season.
