Using a future 1st, cap space, & 2nds to gain a couple of young assets. Chriss being the main target as I still like how he projects. Valentine can fill in nicely as a younger wing rotation player with Ingles/Ariza getting older and potentially hitting FA next offseason.
I accept

I accept.
Couple of reasons here.
#1 - I really have too many players. Yes, I can cut some of the "older" types like Solomon Hill, and I probably will still end up doing that, but I'd rather get assets for my pieces instead of cutting them outright, as much as possible.
#2 - I'm really not sold on either of Chriss or Valentine to turn into more than rotational bench pieces. Chriss could even find himself out of the league, as a floor, whereas Valentine I do think is at least an NBA player, though his full potential may be limited. Ayton coming into Phoenix puts even more of a damper on Chriss, and the Bulls bringing in Jabari puts more of a damper on Valentine. Neither impressed me much last year and now seem to have even less opportunity to show out.
#3 - Clearing cap is good. If I can clear enough I still would like to buy out the contract of Joakim Noah or Meyers Leonard.
#4 - Also, that 2022 draft class is looking potentially sexy.

Easy accept for me--makes sense for both teams. Washington could use guys that can at least sorta produce and have some upside, Sac needs to get rid of some guys and I think they're smart to package two kinda meh prospects for a good set of picks and some cap space.
