Why would he be altered to a 60 overall for instance? He was irrelevant last year, and even this year the only reason he’s being given minutes is because of injuries. I don’t understand your constant state of confusion to things that should be obvious. |

You got to stop looking at the overalls and look more on the individual skills itself and their combination. Guys who are just very good at scoring with dunks/rebounding/blocks are not gonna get as high overall as someone who is very good at passing, because passing has more influence for the high overall. But it doesn't mean he is bad player.
He has very good height, strength, dunks/layups, defIQ and Rebounding
If you look at Billy's explanation post how the individual skills that matter (and have weight) are calculated. For example defense
defense: { ratings: ["hgt", "stre", "spd", "jmp", "diq"], weights: [1, 1, 1, 0.5, 2], },
For Bryant defensive skill is calculated. Height(70)*1 + strength(65)*1 + speed(35)*1 + jump(55)*0.5 + dIQ(60)*2 = 70 + 65 + 35 + 28 + 120 = total 318
And then looking at the second table, you can see that maximum at defense is 380 (Gobert) level. Not bad to have 318 with 0.0 DBPM and only 1.7 blk/36min actually
Same way you could check for all the different skills and see that Bryant is very good at couple of things, like dunking the ball to basket (if you have someone to pass him the ball), rebounding and defense.
Unless he can develop post game, passing, three point shot, etc.. the overall rating is never going to be high. It doesn't matter, he can still produce a solid (and realistic) double/double with this build in the sim.

I didnt mean to cause a argument nor do i think he should be a 60 but a 50 for sure and as far as minutes go injuries are usually the way young guys get to show what they got and homeboy has something special about him thats all im saying

KG, Thomas Bryant is definitely the player he is IRL (probably better). If you want him defending the rim and dunking balls in your sim I suggest giving him a ++ (since his overall is so low). You have lots of bigs right now though so it's hard to find him minutes with jamychal and whiteside and kuzma also playing so much.
