David Robinson picked Spicy P which was a draft day steal considering he was picked a whopping 18 spots below his actual draft spot.
Spicy P was a borderline all star this season and in the conversation for MIP
Siakam is great in the paint and has improved his 3 pt shooting tremendously this season too.
He plays with an insane amount of energy and intensity which sets the tone for the Raptors.
He is a versatile defender and arguably can defend 1 to 5
He can serve as a small ball center similar to how Draymond Green functions for the Warriors which could be a good weapon come playoff time.
His D720 number may be a bit underwhelming but that is because he is the first option on the D720 Spurs and at this point in his career he is an ideal 2nd or 3rd option
Enjoy Spicy P’s mindblowing spin moves here
2.Dejounte Murray
D720 Draft Position-27 (By Indiana)
NBA Draft Position-29(By San Antonio)
NBA 2017-2018 Season Stats
8.1 ppg on 44.3 % FG and 26.1% 3 pt on 0.4 3 pt attempts
70.9% FT
5.7 rpg
2.9 apg

21.4mpg
Dejounte’s stats may not be eye popping as his main value is seen defensively.
Given below are some of Murray’s achievements defensively in the 2017-2018 season
• Dejounte was selected in the All Defensive Second team in his sophomore season
• He had a Steal % of 2.5 which was 5th in the league behind Oladipo,Dunn,Bledsoe and Slo-Mo
• He had a Defensive Rating of 101.0 which was 5th in the league behind big men Drummond,Gobert,Embiid and Capela
• He had a Defensive Box Plus Minus of 3.4 which was 6th in the league behind Drummond,Gobert,Slo- Mo,Ben Simmons and Cousins
• He was the only player under 6-6 to record 400 rebounds,90 steals and 30 blocks.
His absence is seen in the Spurs Defensive Rating too
In the 2017-2018 season, the Spurs had a Defensive Rating of 99.8 which was 1st in the league.
In the 2018-2019 season, the Spurs have a Defensive Rating of 111.0 which is 14th in the league
Being drafted by the Spurs was a great thing for Murray as they are the best in player development.
Also playing under Pop has surely helped him.
His offensive game needs to improve but I think it will happen eventually
Unfortunately he had an ACL tear but I hope he comes back strongly next season.
Well done Reggie Miller
3.Malcolm Brogdon

The 2017 Rookie of the Year is on pace to join the 50-40-90 club which consists of elite members like Steve Nash(4 times),Larry Bird(twice),Stephen Curry,Kevin Durant,Dirk Nowitzki,Reggie Miller and Mark Price.
He leads the league in FT% this season with a 93.2 %
He is 5th in the league in 3 pt % with 43.5% behind 3-pt contest winner Joe Harris,Davis Bertans,Seth Curry,Buddy Hield and tied with the greatest shooter of all-time Steph Curry.
Brogdon may not have star potential but he will be a good role player for years with his insanely efficient shooting and plays a vital role in the Bucks league best record this season.
Finding a player like Brogdon at 38 requires some great drafting skills so kudos to Brian Scalabrine
4.Caris LeVert

Caris LeVert seemed like the best player on the Nets at the start of the season but then he got injured and D-LO started balling out.
Before his injury,LeVert was a strong candidate for MIP
He is a versatile wing capabale of handling the ball, making plays and scoring in various ways.
He is explosive and thrives as the ball handler in the Pick and Roll.
He has a lot of defensive upside and the physical tools to be a great defender.
Below is LeVert’s game winner against the Nuggets

5. Fred VanVleet
D720 Draft Position-62 (By Washington)
NBA Draft Position-Undrafted
D720 2018-2019 Season Stats

Fred VanVleet is a great bench player which is evident in the fact that he was a Sixth Man of the Year finalist in the 2017-2018 season.
Last season,he was the best bench player for the best bench in the league.
Despite being sub 6 foot and having a meagre winspan of 6 feet 1.5 inches,VanVleet is a good defender.
He uses his high basketball IQ on defence which makes him a good defender inspite of his physical limitations.
He is tenacious and mentally very strong while also having a good work ethic
Drafting a SMOTY candidate at 62 is a pretty big deal so awesome drafting Pete Maravich
Honourable Mentions-
Malik Beasley
D720 Draft Position-22 (By Philadelphia)
NBA Draft Position-19(By Denver)
Beasley’s tremendous improvement helped the Nuggets to stay near the top of the stacked Western Conference even though many of their players were injured.
Now,the Nuggets have incredible depth with all their players back from injury.
Beasley has been a very efficient scorer this season with being a sniper from downtown.
Ivica Zubac
D720 Draft Position-33 (By Golden State)
NBA Draft Position-32(By Lakers)
Zubac has shown tremendous improvement this season while also becoming leaner by losing about 20 pounds.
He has a great touch around the rim.
He can be a solid role player for years to come.
In my opinion trading Zubac for Muscala was a horrible move for the Lakers.
GOAT mention-Ron Baker
