John, after looking over all three of your trades you're probably going to have to make a decision between this trade or the three teamer where you moved JR Smith for a 1st rounder. You were at 13 players before the Indiana trade and picked up 2 players in that deal to get to 15, so you've only got 3 players to drop without picking up another guy (which I suspect you can't do until one of these two trades is done), so you can't trade 4 players (3 players here and JR Smith for a pick in the other trade) for 0.

I would just like to take the time out of the day and say that I hate the idea that players and picks are being traded for nothing.
I get that cap space is valuable. And most times the team is also giving up a useless 2nd round pick. But I wish there were salary exceptions that were able to be traded for this purpose.
An example of something like that would be where in this trade GSW gives up a cap exception of something like 75% of the salary being dumped.
I accept.

I agree with KVH that this should be fixed, and am glad it will be for next season. I'll accept, since it's not moving any players of any real value.

I was at 14 players so id be at 12 players once all these trades pass.

But I'm not gonna make too big of a deal. I don't mind the salary dump or the pieces involved in doing it, so I'll accept this and if the players are a problem we can deal with that later.

My suggestion is in the future, for trades of this sort where the recieving team doesn't have space to accept them, and the players aren't worth anything, cut them first and then just trade their contracts.
