I accept this trade. Kobe is an all time great. His value has diminished, especially with the large salary. In this trade I bring in Monta Ellis, while not on a Kobe level is still a capable scorer. I hate to trade a 1st round pick, but I get a good player in return. J.R. Smith is a scorer and seems to be playing a lot better since he moved to the Cavaliers to play with LeBron. I also get a $14+ mill expiring I might be able to use for the remainder of the year while someone is trying to clear cap for the offseason.

I accept, I don't like the idea of trading Kobe and having to trade a pick as well, but it is a 2018 pick. And Kobe isn't Kobe right now.

I accept. I think it's actually pretty fair value for each team based on what they're giving away, which is pretty hard to do with a three team trade.

I wanted to do this, bc I get a scorer, like Kobe. Kobe is done, he'll only keep a higher rating bc or past play. Also, I save $16 mil next season. So it's actually Monta + free agent = Kobe
