Doc Rivers introduced as new General Manager of the Denver Nuggets:
The infamous Doc Rivers is reintroduced to D720 after 1.5 seasons of being AWOL after being fired as GM (or assistant) of (I completely forget). He has worked in countless cities and dozens of players, touching the hearts of fans everywhere with his kindness and effort to please/entertain them by trading half the team away once every five games to 'keep things interesting'. Doc Rivers got his start in the league as an import from Pinoy Hoops, becoming assistant GM of the Golden State Warriors under Tony Stark and it wasn't long before he became head GM of the Orlando Magic as a replacement for the mysterious Steven Armstead . Doc made several trades while with the team trying to make them stand out as the top team in Florida, most notably trading DeAndre Jordan for a prime Marc Gasol and Derrick Favors for DeMar DeRozan (with Larry Sanders being the 'straw that broke the camels back' on that repeatedly rejected trade) but it wasn't long before seeing that his team wasn't compiling the wins and his assistant GM Allen Iverson was much better then him so he quit. The call of being a GM was too strong and it wasn't long before he was hired as assistant GM of the Atlanta Hawks under Brown Cobb IV where he learned from one of the best rebuilders in the league, he was then offered to steer the ship with Sacramento once again reunited with locker room cancer Jimmy Butler who he immediately traded for the #1 pick before then trading the #1 pick to the Hawks for picks #4 and #7 but before the picks could be made he was fired for inactivity ( :P ) but upon his arrival he was offered a position with the Seattle SuperSonics (now known as the Denver Nuggets) under master GM and NBA Champion John Stockton , Doc filled his brain with knowledge then set off into the sunset to learn everything he could elsewhere before finally returning to right the ship that has sunk since John left Seattle (now Denver). He feel's like he will make considerably better trades now that he has the experience of having rejected trade after rejected trade and knowing more about the league in general. billy's comments on Doc being hired as GM of the Denver Nuggets: 'The Western Conference is stacked anyways, but I love that my baby bird is back!' Lebron is fine with it as long as he doesn't have to play PG anymore for a murderer and as long as he's EVP of Basketball Ops.
