Jayson Tatum is one of the top rising stars in the league if not the top, while Khris Middleton is an All-Star talent on both ends of the floor and is a great complimentary All-Star to a superstar. Brown Cobb IV verdict please.

This trade is pretty wild for BC since he was gearing towards a full youth movement with that Gasol trade and will need to retool a bit around LeBron, but I think he's earned the benefit of the doubt for a risk like this and no one better to do it with than LeBron. Bev / Oladipo / 2Bogs / LeBron / Bam with JJ off the bench? Nice stuff. Doc's side... better than last time, at least. Return could probably reflect that you're giving up KD / LeBron / Bev / JJ all in one deal if you were taking it to the level it should go, but getting back a guy that just signed for a max IRL, a great young player, and some draft assets while shedding a ton of salary all the while the whole league and your players are fully aware that you're starting the rebuild... things could be much worse. I'll accept. With that said, not to poop on the party but I think the salaries don't fit in the 125% rule and ATL is over the cap for 18-19 so you need to edit this to use 19-20 salaries across the board (Middleton is an expiring $18M but everything else looks right), as well as 1) make clear that this trade is using 19-20 salaries, 2) Specifically notate both teams Total Team Salary after the trade so we can be certain that Atlanta doesn't go over the $109.14M cap with this deal, and (I think?) 3) request that this deal be queued until the year rolls over. ( billy, or someone smarter, let me know if I'm wrong here about needing to queue the trade at this point if it uses next year's salaries?)
