Chicago trades
OKC 2021 1st Ian Mahinmi $12,000,000 (dead money) Zach Randolph $5,500,000 (dead money) Al Jefferson $15,925,000 (dead money) Jodie Meeks $2,000,000 (dead money)
total $35,425,000 total 125% $44,281,250
Portland trades Chris Paul $38,328,211
Accept. Another move in the rebuild. CP3 is playing very well, so one could argue that his value is more than just one pick. But not many teams are going full contender mode this season as the top teams are so good, so the market is quite limited unless I would take also bad money contracts back. Which I prefer not to, as I can also put the cap space this gets me to good use in FA to go after younger guys. I rather take one pick than wait until offseason when he might walk, or I have to pay more than I prefer in my rebuilding phase.
East playoffs are gonna be lit! :D

I accept. CP3 doesn't really fit with my timeline right now but if I can resign him on a short deal he could really help my team in the next 2 seasons. If Philly isnt as OP next year in the sim, i may have a chance at the title. Pleasure dealing with you Mr Duncan and welcome back to Chicago CP!

Trading CP3 cheap, I'm mulling this over for now.

Trading CP3 cheap, I'm mulling this over for now. Meh, he has been on the trade block for 2 months. Got couple of offers, and I approached maybe 5-6 teams myself. Half of the league is tanking or planning a rebuild, so they would not be interested. I have other offers with some seconds and young player, but I guess I just prefer to get a first rounder. Even if OKC is looking to be a playoff team next year, you never know what happens. Maybe I get lucky and they slip to lottery.
edit. And it depends a bit what happens with Derozan, but also this works to my plan to have a lot of cap space either this or next year to get new younger stars next to KP when he hits his prime.

That pick is definitely in the 20s. ;)

sorry haven’t had the time to adjust. You can still update your DC accordingly.
