Atlanta Hawks accept this trade. We've been working on this trade for a long time and again, we are committed to doing everything that we can do to make a run this year. Victor and Bam were the prime assets of this team, but being able to unite AD with LeBron just as they did in real life was a chance I could not pass up. YeezyEd Cooley

I accept this trade. As much as I would love to hold AD, it’s a risk that could kill my potential to give Ja some support. If AD declines his PO, which he most likely will do unless there’s an indefinite salary cap decrease, there are teams that could offer him a really good chance at success and I can’t risk him leaving us for nothing. I think John has a good shot to compete for the title now and I get some great contracts/future assets that will give me success and trade value. I’m very high on Dipo, especially since the 7 games before the break showed a very bright return. Obviously Bam is a great asset to fill the position that AD had. Hoping to make a few more moves before the offseason and then I’ll have a decent chance at building around Ja.

Yes. Always sad to see a 3-ways trade made by someone else but amazing trade. I like it for all teams so congrats all!

This isn’t enough for AD in my eyes. Reminds me a lot of the AD -> Seattle trade. Ed Cooley could get significantly more for him. And I don’t see any situation in which it’s better to trade him for less than ideal return than it is to just make some moves to deliver extra talent to AD so he isn’t tempted to leave in free agency.

Pels might miss the playoffs, no way AD would stay if they did that. Bam is a stud. That’s a real nice haul Davis could leave even if they make the Playoffs honestly. So, Pelicans have a nice team but it is hard to deny real life Pelicans also wasn't that terrible when he decided to leave them. He just wanted gone to LA to maybe win a title with Lebron and he started putting family, agents and others in the middle to use them as an excuse so he wouldn't look like Kevin Durant basically.

Was waiting for this comment lol. I’ll note here that you’ve been messaging me about this and I will repeat what I told you privately. I initiated this deal with John because it’s the type of return that I’m looking for. John didn’t come to me with this offer. They are contracts that fit my timeline and valuable trade pieces that I need. Dallas actually had the second best offer and then Toronto was 3rd. I don’t want Brown/Murray because they don’t make sense on my squad. Bam and Dipo fit much better and I’m getting a 22 pick, which should be noted might be a really good investment pending a double draft.

And this version is even worse than I was imagining... LOL. Just because you targeted the deal doesn’t mean you’re getting what you should.

Ask Stuff The Magic Dragon We had a 4 month negotiation that unfortunately fell through for pieces that could help me keep AD and Ja. It’s not like I sat back for this season and just let AD go to waste. Sure when I joined this league I didn’t realize AD’s value but I definitely have become accustomed to the sim and what moves I should make. I tried all offseason to land a superstar but they all ended up elsewhere. I picked up a lot of pieces to help, but there really is a very small chance that I would win it all this year. I ran the sim multiple times with multiple different rosters and I am very happy with my return here.

Stop hating bc you didn't get AD man! This is plenty in return, your just salty bc your not the one getting him! Why you always come on the TC hating on almost every trade you can! The return here is far greater than what you would have gave, so stop hating bc it ain't you getting him! It's not a good look bro!!

You’ve been here long enough to know that I’m not in here opposing this trade because I’m a sore loser. I would have happily given more than he’s getting here and Ed knows that. The only way this is enough for AD is if Oladipo has 5-7 years where he replicates the singular season that he played at an All-Star level, AND if Bam actually develops into more than a top tier role player. Sorry if I’m not happy that every time AD gets traded it’s a deal that we’ll all cringe at in 5 years. I guess I just don’t want to see franchises ruined because they made franchise ruining trades. Fuck me, right?

You’ve been here long enough to know that I’m not in here opposing this trade because I’m a sore loser. I mean, you sort of are a sore loser some times but I am the worst in the entire league in that department so it is fine really. And you do insist sometimes like I do.
Edit: I accidentally deleted the part where I said we can both be better, lolololol.

I’m not saying he isn’t great, I’m saying if Favors and 4 1st rounders wasn’t enough a few years ago, Bam and 2 1st rounders plus long odds that Oladipo is an All-star for you again is definitely not enough.
