Could be. They defeated Liverpool and they lost finals 2 out 2 so maybe they go by the law of and win the 3rd one.
Seems like Atalanta might have lost 2 guys for next round. FML. Although PSG will also miss Mbappe. And Cavani for that matter because he became a FA.

don’t get me wrong, I love Messi and Barca but I don’t see them winning the champion’s league again. Atalanta and PSG are meh, that'swhy I chose Atletico winning it this year. |

I don't really expect Atalanta to win actually because they are too small of a club to do so but I love underdogs and underdog stories in general.
Although the odds I took are the same as those for Barcelona. Might have to do with the fact that Barca still need to get past Napoli. But even so, I reckon they are probably much more of a candidate than Atalanta.

Just lost 500 bb.
It is what I expected though. With Ilicic down, Palomino coming off an injury and 5 substitutions, Atalanta's roster was just too short to win. They did alright for like 20 minutes but in the 2nd half, it was clear that even if they won the game they had no chance for the tournament. And I think they would have won against PSG if they didn't have a last minute injury with no substitutions to make. I mean they were 1-0 by like minute 85? lol. But after that man went down, PSG winning was inevitable.
It is a shame because the game that took Atalanta to this stage is considered as one of the biggest reasons why the virus hit Italy so hard so early.
But yeah, I took 10 on Atalanta but those were really bad odds I think that they gave them and that was before Ilicic and Palomino went down. So, the 13 they were giving right before the game for Atalanta to win the title were truly a joke. They probably should have been closer to Leipzig at 19.

I knew that Alphonso Davies plays for Canada but I was not aware that he came from MLS. He is already amazing at 19. Canadians should start watching more Football or Soccer on whatever you want to call it, lol.

Yes. You are right. They had some nice players like De Guzman but not a lot more.
But they will play the 2026 World Cup so maybe they can put a decent team by then. Who knows.
