Looking at the newly published 2020/21 team roster I just wondered why Gortat is still on my roster. I was under the impression, that when a player announces his retirement he comes off your roster - am I mistaken here? "On February 16, 2020, Gortat officially announced his retirement from basketball."

We updated rosters with new ratings but for those that are not in the latest file we kept the old rating. Soon after the Playoffs there is usually a thread for new retired players, so you can ask for Gortat to be removed then.
Edit: It is either a thread or a conversation but Gortat will be removed for Off-Season.

OK - sorry I did not know the procedures here. I actually thought he would have come off the day after he announced his retirement.
