To: All NBA General Managers, the NBA Press Office
Giving up 3 Bird Rights players with good potential is not an easy thing to do, especially if you campaigned for one of them to make it to the all rookie team.
With this, the Minnesota Timberwolves remain committed to being a competitive franchise by getting the best player available in the market without sacrificing our long term goal of winning a championship. We believe the addition of former Team USA player Ken Faried will boost our chances in winning more games next season, along with the presence of Trevor Booker in the paint and play-making skills of Norris Cole.
The upcoming NBA draft promises to be deep in terms of talent, and we look forward to acquiring more assets that will help bring the organization to its ultimate goal - to bring home an NBA championship in Minnesota. Free agency signing is at hand, and we also look forward to acquiring more talent from the existing pool of free agents.
Watch out for the Wolfpack.
(signed) Milt Newton Minnesota Timberwolves General Manager

I will think about your trade offers, but one thing is clear:
The Minnesota Timberwolves are committed to winning next season, with the following in mind:
- Player age - Player contract - Injury - Long term outlook

Not really OQ. I'm looking for players that would fit in the long term goal of the organization.
