Boston Trades: PF 73 Dirk Nowitzki $8,333,333 $8,692,184 $8,333,333
Toronto Trades: C 59 Tyler Zeller $2,616,975 $3,695,168 PF 59 Aaron Gordon $4,171,680 $4,351,320 $5,504,420 $7,260,330 $6,788,655
$6,788,655 x 1.25 = $8,485,818 $8,485,818 > $8,333,333
I accept this trade. I hate to trade Dirk, the future hall of famer. However, I think this is the year Aaron Gordon develops as a star player along side Tobias Harris in Orlando. Tyler Zeller has won the starting center spot for the Boston Celtics. With the development of these two player and Father Time continuing to tick for Dirk Nowitzki this trade should help me out in the future for what it will lack this season.

I accept.
I want to be able to attract top-tier free agents, and while I'm sad to see Gordon go, I get a star big man (something my team desperately needs), and in all likelihood Gordon will not become the player that Dirk is in this sim. Zeller I will probably lose in RFA next off-season because I don't have his bird rights, so I'm happy to make this trade. Additionally, this now makes my CP3 trade CP3 for Dirk and Stanley Johnson, which sounds good to me. Dirk is also on a very cheap contract for his production, so that only reinforces my confidence in this trade. So between the immediate upgrade and making my team a more attractive free agent destination, this trade is a good one for the Raptors.
Not sure if I've mentioned this, but if anyone wants AAA and West, they're pennies on the dollar. Offer me anything for them.

Brian, how do you have 16 players on your team? Is there an error on the roster page?

I guess I do have an extra player? I thought it was okay during the draft... But this trade fixes that...

some of his players are FA when 2015/16 comes but Billy said that I cannot delete the 2014/15 salaries yet cuase he'll be the one to do that that's why Brian have more than 15 players .. if you would base it on 2015/16 he will only have 10 players with salary

Whatever move you made to get to 16 was illegal. Salaries don't roll over until FA starts.

meh, i imagine a lot of decisions have been made pending that move being allowed, so i'd rather just let it be. and make sure us TC are better at catching illegal trades! especially since this trade fixes the problem.

Thank you Billy. Obviously I am a biased party, but I agree. It happened with the CP3 trade, and the solution would just be sending one of my vet mins to Chicago Chicago along with Paul, which hardly makes a difference for either team. If people want justice though I'd be more than happy to send Stockton or Ndoye over, though.

i guess you can kinda make the two trades into a three team trade and have the tc be more vigilant about making sure trades are legal before accepting them but owners should try to be more aware of the situation as well to limit this kinda stuff.
as far as this trade goes, i think this is a huge overpay for dirk, as aaron gordon himself is more than fair value for him imo. having said, zeller albeit on the celtics, will have plenty of time and has potential to become a decent contributor.
I'm voting no for this one

John Stockton , really? Like, Gordon hasn't been fantastic so far, and Dirk is an actual star who will have great production in this league on a small contract compared with players of similar ratings.

There are three things to look at when evaluating trades. Player age, contract and skill.
I know there are several others who share my opinion of Gordon, and really think he could be a star. He's only 20 years old with rest of his rookie contract to play. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see him put up numbers like 15/8 or better consistently. Dirk's contract is cheap, but he's 37.... Why give up potential of having 10=15 years of Gordon on lock for a player who probably won't be in the league for more than 2 years?

Toronto wants to use Dirk to make his team more attractive to free agents. Tyler Zeller and Aaron Gordon don't have the same draw as Nowitzki.

Toronto wants to use Dirk to make his team more attractive to free agents. Tyler Zeller and Aaron Gordon don't have the same draw as Nowitzki. Quite right. I feel like having another star that hardly hurts the pocket book gives me an edge in free agency. It would be easy for free agents to find me in disfavor because I traded CP3, but this way I retain the cap relief of that trade, the youthful upside in Johnson, and some star power. After this trade, I could still have room to sign two more stars, which then gives me a ton of leverage over the other teams, especially being in the East. And a MAJOR need of mine is a star big man. I have a lot of roster spots to fill, so I can't afford to not have that edge. After this trade, I can much more confidently make big promises to FAs, which will really help me out. I agree Gordon has a lot of potential, but you can't fault me for not trusting that potential enough to pass up on Dirk. Dirk, Klay, Free Agent makes a super team, and I'll still have cap space for another big name or solid supporting guys.

I'll accept. Brian is expressly doing it for making his team attractive to free agents in the short term which is a good bet. Nobody knows for sure whether or not Gordon ends up a star, and I think a team trying to contend now should get some leeway in aggressively trying to do so.
