Sacramento KingsPG 69 Deron Williams $21,042,800 $22,331,135 SAC 2017 1st SAC 2017 2nd for New Orleans PelicansPick #56 I accept. Even though this ties my hands from being able to sign anyone this year, or even next year, I get a 1st and can tank harder. Meanwhile I save the Kings from the ultimate destruction that this hell of a contract has caused.

God bless you Billy King, Lord and Savior of the Kings franchise, High Manager of the New Orleans Angels. May the odds of trading D-Will as an expiring be ever in your favor.

You can trade Ray Allen? I thought he expired in the 2014-2015 season

You can trade Ray Allen? I thought he expired in the 2014-2015 season Paul, I think we're still on "14-15" time in regards to trades, etc., until the final pick of the draft has been made (which will be pretty soon, now!). Either we're still in 14-15 and BK has to trade that salary to not go over the cap, or we're in 15-16 where he has the cap room and it doesn't matter anyway.

He is right though I can't trade Ray allens expiring contract. Allow me to put this trade on hold until after the draft and we can do it without Ray Allen there.

From Allan Houston: Really? In Trading Regulations it says: Emphasis mine. And it's really weird to me if you can still trade expirings. That's very much unlike the NBA. From cbafaq:

I think it's from 2015/16 contracts that are expiring.. I mean I could have trade my expiring contracts of 2014/15 if I could but I didn't because I thought it was until before playoffs..
