Seattle trades: Mike Conley $9,680,000 Noah Vonleh $2,637,720 $2,751,360 $3,505,232 $4,140,963 2016 Indiana 2nd 2016 Seattle 2nd Indiana trades: Kyle Lowry $12,000,000 x3 We accept. I believe these two point guards are on the same tier and I'm basically paying Vonleh and the two 2nds for a point guard that comes with bird rights. This trade is a win-win for Indiana, since they should be able to resign Conley after this season. Reggie Miller

I accept.. It's difficult to part ways to Lowry after all his done with the team but this is for the greater good for him and to us.. I really like Conley because of his leadership and his defensive plays which is we really need because our team lacks defense.. Vonleh on the other hand will be a very interesting player.. I can see his potential and will be one of our future players.. that 2 2nd rd will be in good use next year..

Coming from a pretty big fan of Conley's game, I think it's a mistake to trade Lowry right now. After slimming down this offseason he's been lighting it up in preseason and is averaging 19.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 3.0 steals, 1.0 block, and 1.8 threes per game through the first 4 games this season. He's due for a rating increase and still has three years left on his contract. Vonleh has a ton of potential, and I can attest to feeling like it's possible to find decent talent at the end of the 2nd round, so none of what you're receiving past Conley is lacking in value, but Vonleh and both of the drafted players are gonna to have to pan out big time for this trade to not be what I would consider a loss for Indiana...

I'll admit that I wish you would have accepted my offer...
I think this is fair enough. I agree that Lowry is about to hit a stride, but that is pretty clear to everyone, so I figure Reggie is choosing to sell high on him, which is a fair. I wouldn't do it, but he is getting a couple second rounders and a great potential guy in Vonleh alongside Conley, and I'll say that's not a bad return.
I accept.

On the flip side, I'm also a little worried about the fact that this move would leave John Stockton 's roster only 8 deep with no cap space or MLE to fill out depth. I'm going to accept this, but I almost feel like it's bad for both sides.

It's hard to lose Lowry knowing that he's playing great todate but I gotta do this to improve my roster.. I need to fill 2 starters because Millsap and Green are gone so trading for Conley is the only way I need now.. besides Conley is only 28 and in his prime.. I expect him to be very good this season despite the early jitters
