Suns Trade:
ATL 2016 1st ATL 2016 2nd ATL 2017 2nd (63) Vince Carter $4,088,019 - $4,264,057 - UFA (65) Jamal Crawford $5,675,000 - UFA
Total salary traded: $9,763,019
Bulls Trade:
(42) Dwight Powell $1,000,000 - $1,000,000 - $1,000,000 - UFA (59) Dante Exum $3,777,720 - $3,940,320 - $4,992,385 - $6,619,903
Total salary traded: $4,777,720
I accept. As a rebuilding team, giving up a 1st was difficult. However, the chances that I get a shot at a player with the potential of Exum is low. Also, with Exum being out for the year, it is almost as if he will be "drafted" with this pick. The trading of Vince and Crawford was simple as they were merely assets to me and aren't useful to me by the time I am ready to compete. Lastly, Powell has been doing quite well in Dallas irl which I hope can be translated into the sim. I am excited to see him develop on my team. Good dealing Bulls, best of luck!

In my opinion, this trade doesn't make any sense at all for the Suns. The first round pick, value-wise, is roughly equivalent to an out-for-the-year Exum, which by continuation means you're trading Vince Carter, Jamal Crawford, and two 2nd round picks for Dwight Powell and a tiny bit of cap relief. If you're interested in Exum and also planning on dropping good players to tank, I still think you've got more than enough on your side of the deal to get Exum without giving away so much.

I really think the Suns should hold onto those picks... Having those extra picks is what was making them ready to compete by 2018. I hate that they're giving that up for a guy who is coming off a huge injury and had a crappy rookie season before he was hurt. I think they're giving up too much, so I'm going to reject this one.

I think Suns would be smart to hold onto VC and JC until after free agency, there will be a much larger market for them then, because contenders won't be worried then about saving money for the off-season to make a run at someone. Like, in my opinion Exum for VC and JC should get it done. Powell is alright but not worth a first and two seconds.

reject. i think its been well documented on here with our previous discussions of exum how bad he was in his time that he has had opportunities. i personally think burke has a higher ceiling than exum, esp given his injury history. imma vote no. (0-3)

Don't know if we need another vote, but I reject as well. Way too much for Exum.
