Very tough pick here, but I can't help but think that with as many mouths to feed on offense as I'm sure we'll have that a good unselfish point guard is going to be absolutely critical. And they'll have to be a solid defender, and able to shoot...
Going to go with Jason Kidd

I'm missing my guys with 1 or 2 spots all the time.. this team is going to be completely different what I thought I'll take Dwyane Wade
I got close to taking Wade, but then I realized even prime wade was a below average 3 point shooter, and he wouldn’t really compliment Curry in a backcourt. Prime wade was still a boss though. He was my favorite player at one point in time.

Gonna take Kawhi “Supped up Pippen” Leonard in the words of Max Kellerman You made my life a little bit easier. I pick Scottie Pippen. :D With this pick I thought a star with elite perimeter defense was the way to go especially if I am competing against god damn Michael Jordan and I had Leonard and Pippen up there. So, Leonard won 2 DPOY as a perimeter defender in an era without hand checking and that is huge but Pippen was al elite perimeter defender for over a decade who on top of that was known for being able to guard multiple positions. Leonard has only played 407 season games so far compared to Pippen's 1178 so that is also a big thing to consider I suppose. One thing I liked Pippen was his capability to pass the ball, handle the ball and be a leader if leader. imagine how much more effective Kawhi would be if he was allowed to handcheck though 👀 I think the difference between he and Pippen is marginal defensively, but I think Kawhi being a much more efficient scorer, as well as a better shooter gives him the edge in a h2h comparison.

Gonna go with a Blazers great who passes very well for a big man, is a team player with lockdown D and grabs boards with the best of them... Former MVP, Bill Walton.
I was hoping to create the best defensive team in the league without sacrificing shooting on the wing and backcourt, but Allan might be a done deal with MJ/Payton. But--going for the best ball movement with Kidd, Bird, Walton, and more to come.
