Trade itself was accepted, but Demarr declined to waive his NTC ( dynasty720.proboards.com/post/47702 ). But since Portland has dropped from the top of the West (4-6 in last 10 games, including 2 losses in a row to Denver) and traded away Draymond to more clearly start rebuilding. it's perhaps reasonable for Demarr and PA's to reconsider the situation. To get back to the PA voting the trade should be reposted.
Denver trades: Mike Conley $34,545,000 $36,660,000 Buddy Hield $3,703,955 $4,967,004 CHI 2020 2nd
Total outgoing salary $38,248,955
Portland trades: DeMar DeRozan $34,155,000 $36,382,500 (PO) Dewayne Dedmon $4,500,000 $3,408,600 $2,317,200
Total outgoing salary $38,655,000
Still same reasons for me to accept. Looking to get younger

I accept, this is not the only deal I have in place to help my team get better. Demar and I also have history together which should be factored in as well.

This trade is passed. However, if I'm a player agent, I'll have second thoughts when players sign a NTC in Portland. Having a GM so eager to move you considering you signed a NTC is just bad rep for the team. Especially if the team was leading the West at the time.

Having a GM so eager to move you considering you signed a NTC is just bad rep for the team. Especially if the team was leading the West at the time. I signed him to a five year deal and only after three and half years I have been looking to trade. In a league where basically all GM's are trading freshly signed FAs within few months after season starts, I don't think this is so bad. Very surprisingly I was starting the season strongly, but it was with an easy schedule. Now in past games the team performance has been as it could be expected from the Power Rankings talent. We are possibly making playoffs with 5-8 seed, with a very small chance for championship. Anyways the team has decided to start a small rebuild. If DeMar wants to definitely stay and be part of this rebuild, we are happy to have him, but I don't think it's unrealistic or bad to explore trade to a team that wants DeMar to be their go-to star for a push to the playoffs

This is a stupid trade. Doc isn't even in the playoffs and he is giving up Hield for a Demarr that will almost certainly opt out. What a dolt.

I can’t get over the fact that somehow this passed this first time despite multiple people commenting on the absurdity of Denver having included a pick as if Portland was somehow on the losing side of the deal without it, and yet somehow - after miraculously getting a second chance to re-negotiate - that pick is STILL included.
