The Top 5 teams! 01. Clippers 14-68 03. Pacers 23-59 04a. Celtics 24-58 06. Pistons 28-54 (Jumped to the top 3) 08. Jazz 33-49 (Jumped to the top 3) Pistons and Jazz should be jumped to top 4 right?

But for Hornets to drop it means that both Pacers and Celtics have jumped ahead of them? So then there are 4 teams jumping.. I think Clippers will be 5th, or am I not thinking this right?
And only way for me to get the Boston pick is that if Jazz, Pistons and Pacers all jumped to 1-3, and Boston jumped to 4th ahead of Clippers and Hornets

The rest gets a chance at the top 3 or be seeded lower than they currently are (except for number 14.of of course)

I think Boston will be 5th and either the Clippers or Pacers is 4th. Jazz and Pistons jumping means they're sure to be in the top 3.

As far as I know, after the top 4,the rest of all the teams are sorted in the order of their records. So since Hornets have a better record than only the Clippers, the 5th pick has to go to the Clippers in that case.

I stand corrected. It is 1-4, not 1-3. Thanks,. Shaq! That's because you haven't read enough of dynasty720.proboards.com/thread/5791/unprotected-draft-picks. So, Pistons and Jazz jumped to top 4 but still one of Clippers, Pacers or Celtics will end 5th. And once that happen any of the of the 4 teams remaining can get 1st to 4th. I think that explains all doubt you might have, LOL.

So, Pistons and Jazz jumped to top 4 but still one of Clippers, Pacers or Celtics will end 5th. Prior to the 2019 draft, after the first three teams had been determined, the remaining picks were determined by regular season record with the worst teams getting the highest picks. This assured each team that it could drop no more than three spots from its projected draft position. Since the 2019 draft, the number of lottery winners was increased from 3 to 4, with the remaining picks still assigned based on regular season record. Now a team can drop no more than four spots from its seeded position to its actual draft position. This is what I found online^.That would mean I get the 5th pick.

But I did forget that Indiana had the same amount of lottery balls as you.. so in theory they were also projected as one. I don't know.. Just give me the Boston pick please :D

So I followed your argument and I still really don't understand how that leads to get to you getting #5 100%. I mean, maybe you get 5th, LOL.
But as you said, there are 4 Lottery balls winners. And you know Pistons and Jazz are 2 but you still got 2 more balls remaining.

The way i understand it,after the top 4 teams, the other teams are in order of their regular season record from worst to best.As Charlotte got the 6th pick and have the second worst league record, the team with the 5th pick has a worse league record than Charlotte and the only possible team for that is the Clippers

Ok. Yes. Now I see it. You are #5.
Yeah, so Pistons and Jazz jumped but if Hornets finished 6th that's because the 5th had a worse record. You are absolutely right.
Shaq O'Neal Sorry for giving you false hopes for a moment. Although it wasn't false hopes because you understood I was wrong, LOL.

So, I did it a little digging and my info has been a bit unreliable over here today but I can confirm there is such a thing as the curse of the D720 worst team!
2015: Pelicans #1 to #4. 2016: Hawks #1 to #4. 2017: Mavericks (owned by NOP) #1 to #4. 2018: Raptors #1 to #2. 2019: Raptors #1 to #5. 2020: Clippers #1 to #5.

Curious to know what was the trade that gave you that pick I think 2 second rounders for the pick with Toronto few years back. Then Boston was still really good so it looked like late 1st rounder
